In conclusion, being intentional about engaging potential volunteers will greatly impact how they become involved in today's parish. Additionally, replacing the various categories of ministries and organizations with the proposed four functions of ministry life will simplify the pathway to volunteerism. This new structure will provide a clearer understanding of the Church's mission and how each ministry contributes to it. Publicizing these four functions through a new ministry guide, along with descriptions of the various ministries, will also be beneficial for parishioners, whether shared via a booklet, website, or App.
It is essential that the four functions of ministry life lead a path towards a ministry guide and discernment tool for receiving potential volunteers. This tool is vital for understanding the diverse and important volunteer and connecting to the work of any parish. I am confident that both potential volunteers and existing parish members will find this arrangement helpful in grasping the scope of parish work and service. Moreover, it will foster a sense of caretaking that is crucial for today's volunteers who are eager to serve.
