Overview

Whether you are a practicing Christian leader or experiencing faith challenges, this reflection is created to turn your attention towards Jesus Christ and listen to what he is calling you to do.

Activity 1

Is it difficult for you to hear God's voice in your life? Does societal noise deafen your heart and mind?

Recognizing God's voice through scripture and community (Koinonia) is a vital way to focus your attention on Him. Similarly, a Christian's goodwill toward God's love invites us to engage in a conversation with Him.

Insight: This course shares a personal testimony about hearing God's voice and the qualities needed to do so. By the end of this course, learners will be able to express Jesus' desire to maintain a close conversation with them, as conveyed in John 15:16.

Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Pray that the Triune God continues to call and send them into the vineyard.

  • Reflect on John 15:16 and describe how the fruit of their life responds to God’s calling.

  • Determine if the learner's relationship with Jesus is servant or friend?
